Twenty-five years of Enet, in 80 seconds

For its 25th anniversary, Enet asked us for an animated film telling the company’s story, from the dial-up era to fibre, cloud and 5G. We made it between September and October 2025, for a budget of €3,000, and the final was signed off two days after the first version.

What they needed

An animated film for Enet’s 25th anniversary, telling the company’s story from the dial-up era to fibre, cloud and 5G. Its working title was “25 Years in 25 Seconds”.

What we made

A year-by-year story built from archive photos, a dotted map of Ireland and one connecting line that carries the eye through the timeline, over a professional voiceover.

Who made it

Our producer ran the job from script to delivery, with a specialist animator and a professional voiceover artist. We bring in specialists like these when a style needs them.

What we delivered

  • An 80-second animated film
  • The concept and script
  • A storyboard, signed off first
  • A professional voiceover
  • 2D animation, music and sound
  • The final film as an HD file

An 80-second animated film, the concept and script, a storyboard, signed off first, a professional voiceover, 2D animation, music and sound, the final film as an HD file.

From brief to final, step by step

Script and storyboard first, then the animation, then one round of notes, all about the sound.

  1. Step 01

    September 2025: the brief

Enet asked for an anniversary film. We wrote the script and briefed the voiceover artist in mid-September.

  2. Step 02

    20 October: storyboard approved

Enet signed off the storyboard before anything moved. Changing a sketch is cheap; changing a finished scene can mean animating it again.

  3. Step 03

    22 October: the first version

Enet’s only notes were about the sound: swap one effect on the photos, and use the music without its vocal.

  4. Step 04

    23 October: both fixes back

Both changes went back to Enet the next day, in a new version.

  5. Step 05

    24 October: final signed off

The final film was approved two days after the first version, and delivered as an HD file.
