Balbriggan Beach Festival, in all its colour, for Fingal
Fingal County Council’s free Beach Activity Festival in Balbriggan had been filmed before, and the council wanted a film that beat the previous two years’ videos. We filmed the 2023 festival on 20 August with a two-person crew and sent the first cut four days later. The council needed no changes and posted it on its sports channels that evening, then booked us again for 2024.

What they needed
A highlight film of a free community festival that would do better than the films from the previous two years, ready to post soon after.
What we filmed
The whole day on the beach: beach soccer, tag rugby, volleyball, drumming, yoga, the sea, and the colour-powder finale, which we planned for in slow motion from the first call.
The year after
The council came back in 2024 for a short trailer before the festival, cut in three shapes for social, and a recap of the day itself.
