Always searching: two recruiters in camouflage, for STRIVE
STRIVE Search was a new Dublin recruitment agency that needed people to notice it. Its founders wanted something between a boardroom shoot and a comedy advert: serious professionals who don’t take themselves too seriously. We filmed them in camouflage suits and binoculars, searching Phoenix Park for talent, in one day in January 2024.

What they needed
Video to get a new agency’s name out on LinkedIn, with personality and a strong first ten seconds, filmed outdoors in Dublin.
What we filmed
Founders Kevin Halligan and Stephen Hoban in over-the-top camouflage, spotting people in the park who would suit unlikely jobs, then dropping the disguise to make the pitch. Scripts were written with the founders, and “search” replaced “hunt”, because headhunting sounds negative.
What it did
STRIVE told us people mentioned the first film to them, including people who hadn’t liked the post. On Clutch, it said the videos increased its views and clicks, and that the outtakes video did very well.
