“We had other photographers at our event who were constantly distracting the audience and pulling focus, but Mango Media blended into the background, were not blocking the shots, and were able to pivot seamlessly when asked to do so.”

“Their cinematographic skills are impressive as well; they’re able to create aesthetically pleasing videos thanks to their good eye for films.”

With us, half a day of filming in Dublin starts from €1,500, and a full day from €1,950. That includes a planning call and call sheet, our crew, cameras, lights and sound, and travel within Dublin. A half day is up to four hours on site; a full day is up to eight.
What moves the price is mostly time and place. A long day or several days costs more, and outside Dublin travel is added to your quote up front, with an overnight adding roughly €250–€350. Drone footage adds about €250 a shoot day where it’s legal to fly, and a set of stills about €350. Crew hire is filming only: if you’d like us to edit too, we quote it as a full film instead.
A crew with cameras, lights and sound, ready to film interviews, events or location work. Our kit includes Blackmagic cinema cameras (a PYXIS 12K and a Pocket 6K Pro), Fujifilm X-H2S bodies, a set of DZOFilm Vespid cine primes and macro lenses, Aputure LED lights, DJI wireless video to the client monitor, wireless microphones with timecode sync, crew headsets, a teleprompter, DJI RS 3 Pro and RS 4 Pro gimbals, an Easyrig and a slider, an ATEM switcher for live events, and a DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone.
What comes on the day depends on the brief: a sit-down interview needs lights and two cameras, a run-and-gun event needs a gimbal and a fast setup. We agree it on the call. If your job needs something we don’t own, like a particular lens set, we hire it in and add it to the quote.
Yes. Everything we film is yours to keep, in full quality, with no licence fees or time limits on how you use it. We back up every card on set to a second drive before we leave, so nothing is lost between the shoot and your edit. You choose how the footage reaches you: by cloud transfer, typically within 48 hours depending on how much there is, on your own drive on the day, or on a new drive we buy for you and hand over on the day.
If we’re shooting with several cameras, we keep the clips sorted by camera and scene, and record clean sound from every microphone as separate files, synced by timecode, so your editor can start straight away. If you’d rather not edit it yourselves, we can do that too, quoted separately. Raw footage handover has been part of jobs for clients in Ireland, Germany and the UK.
Yes, anywhere in Ireland, and in the UK too: we’ve filmed there several times, including shoots for Gucci, Manchester Airport, The Savoy and Google. Travel is priced from our base at DCU Innovate in Glasnevin and built into your quote up front, and an overnight adds roughly €250–€350. Recent filming days have taken us to a farm in the Wicklow Mountains, the south coast, Galway, Tullamore, Cahir and the Blasket Centre in Kerry.
Clients abroad already hire us to film here in Ireland and take the footage home to edit, including a marketing agency in Germany and a company in London. For drone work, we check every site against the Irish Aviation Authority’s zone map before we quote. On the call, tell us the address and the start time, and we’ll plan the travel around your day.
A freelancer is often cheaper for a simple job, and some are excellent. A production company crew gives you a few things a single freelancer can’t always offer. There’s more than one person, so sound and a second camera are covered, and a producer plans the day and sends a call sheet. You also get a full kit with backups, and company insurance with letters of indemnity for venues that ask.
We carry €6.5 million public liability and €13 million employer’s liability cover, and send certificates to venues before the shoot. And if you later decide you want the edit done too, the same team can pick it up.
Can’t see yours? Ask us directly.
Yes. We can switch several cameras live and stream to YouTube, LinkedIn, Teams, Zoom or a private link. See our event and livestream page for more.
Moving a shoot is free with at least 24 hours’ notice. Fees already committed for the day may have to be covered.
Yes, if you need one. Tell us on the call and we’ll load your script on the day.
Yes. We’ve filmed in the UK several times, including shoots for Gucci, Manchester Airport, The Savoy and Google. Tell us the location on the call and we’ll plan the travel into your quote.
