Teaching e-scooters to see the street, for Luna
Luna Systems makes a camera and computer-vision system that keeps shared e-scooters off footpaths and helps them park properly. In 2022 its chief communications officer asked us for a film to explain it to operators and cities. We filmed around Dublin and the DCU campus, built the detection graphics into the edit, and Luna published the film in September 2022.

What they needed
A film for business and government audiences that shows what the technology does, at a time when branded scooters could only be filmed on campus or private ground.
What we filmed
An interview at Luna’s base, a rider on Dollymount road, Dublin’s cycle lanes and O’Connell Street, drone shots of the city and a parking sequence at DCU. In the edit we added detection callouts, lane overlays and on-screen text, around footage from Luna’s own system.
Afterwards
Luna posted the film on YouTube and LinkedIn when it was done, and came back to us for its Kickstarter film in 2024.
